There is also a clear business case since non-compliance can have an impact on RTL Group's reputation, impede its ability to achieve strategic objectives and therewith economic success. Finally, there is a legal case since demonstrating the existence of a sound compliance programme can prevent management and employees from legal liability.

Combining the streaming services of its broadcasters (such as RTL+, 6play, Salto, Videoland), the digital video company We Are Era, and Fremantle’s more than 360 YouTube channels, RTL Group has become the leading European media company in digital video.
