Take part! Take action!

The Employee Survey gives you the opportunity to rate important aspects of your daily work life and thereby influence the company’s development. You can take part anonymously by completing the multiple choice questionnaire, which covers topics such as workplace conditions, work-life balance, continuing education and training and career development. The results are then discussed in a mandatory post-survey follow-up process involving all executives and their teams, and an action plan is created for areas identified as in need of improvement.

Date of the survey:

3 to 17 June 2019 

The survey has been extended until 26 June 2019.

History: The first worldwide Employee Survey at RTL Group was conducted in 2002.

From 2002 till 2019, the Employee Survey has been conducted every three years. Going forward it will be conducted every two years.


For employees: a participation tool for the targeted improvement of working life anonymously and voluntarily.

For team leaders: a development tool to improve their leadership skills and cooperation in the team.

At executive and Group level, the survey serves as an important measuring tool for the long-term development of performance potential.


Invitation will come by email only, it will include 2 access codes and 1 supervisor code.

If the email is lost or deleted there will be no new invitation!

The survey is conducted online. You will receive access codes to log in to a relevant website where you can choose from several languages.

Completing the questionnaire only takes 10 minutes. It can be completed during working hours at the office or at home. You can access the survey from your smartphone or tablet.

Access Codes:

The access codes allow employees to participate online. These codes prevent external parties from completing the questionnaire online.

The access codes are assigned randomly. It is not possible to establish a connection between the codes and the person who has completed the questionnaire.  

Confidentiality and Anonymity:

No one at your company has access to the completed survey forms. Completed questionnaires are sent directly to a data processing firm. Stored responses cannot be traced back to the individual person who provided them.

Results transparency:

The result reports are made available to all employees. Every employee has the right to view the survey results for his/her team and company.

Predictive Survey (only for team leaders): This will run in parallel to the Employee Survey, team leaders themselves will be the only ones who will have access to their results (no HR, no top management). This is kind of an auto evaluation, when completing this team leaders should ask themselves "How will my team rate me?"
Take part!

The higher the participation rate, the greater the validity – and therefore the benefits – of the results. However, participation in the survey is purely voluntary. In the spirit of the company’s corporate culture based on partnership, each employee can seize this opportunity to express his/her opinion.

Take action!

Following the survey, managers will discuss the results together with their teams and develop improvement measures in areas where change is needed. Employees therefore have an opportunity to actively participate in the planning and implementation of measures. The results will be available mid-September.
